Are you ready for Twirl's Invent Event?

Posted

Build a robot from recycled materials, weave a basket, make a car with 3D printed parts, paint a mural or embark on any of three dozen other activities at the fifth annual Invent Event at the Enos Garcia Elementary School gym on April 27.

The popular, free, one-day "maker space" is produced by the nonprofit Twirl in collaboration with multiple community partners. It is creative fun for the whole family, a place to let your imagination run wild.

Nina Silfverberg, Twirl's public programs manager, said in a statement, "It makes me very happy to produce the Invent Event because it is such an extraordinary community event. We would not have Invent Event without the skills, creativity and resources of the collaborators and sponsors. And seeing all the wildly inspired and happy faces of participants is proof that Invent Event is a creativity extravaganza for Taos County families."
