Skiers and snowboarders braved the icy waters of a man-made pond Sunday (March 24) to celebrate the end of a season. In "Throwback-Retro" style, hundreds of spectators and participants turned out for Red River Ski and Summer Area's Closing Day Pond Skim. Costumes ranged from gold sequins and rabbit masks to very little clothing at all. Judges awarded points based on riders' style and ability to skim across the pond.
