Twenty-three-year-old Jose Saiz has gone missing in Taos County and may be in danger if not located, according to a Brittany Alert issued by New Mexico State Police on Thursday (May 23).
The alert describes Saiz as five-feet, nine-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Saiz was last seen May 22 wearing a camouflage hoodie, black jeans, blue Jordan brand shoes and a black shirt with a Duke logo.
He may be driving a 2005 gold Buick two-door car with a New Mexico license plate HPR152. The vehicle has visible damage on the passenger side, a dent on the right front end by the tire, a white round sticker on the rear bumper with unknown lettering and other stickers on the rear window.
"A Brittany Alert is a notification that gets sent out statewide similar to that of an Amber Alert, creates a notification system for law enforcement when an individual with severe physical, mental or developmental disabilities is reported missing," according to the New Mexico Deptartment of Public Safety.
