Hundreds of motorcycle riders cruise through Taos in Run for the Wall ride

Posted

The annual Run for the Wall motorcycle run is making its way through Taos Friday (May 17) on its way to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Angel Fire.

Hundreds of motorcycles are currently traveling across the United States to Washington, D.C., to pay tribute to veterans who were unable to make it back home. The run was started in 1989 and continues to pay tribute to fallen veterans of past wars.

This year, hundreds of motorcycles will travel north on Paseo del Pueblo Sur and take a right on Paseo del Cañon, where they will make their way to the veterans memorial in Angel Fire. There, a pit stop will be provided with refreshments as they continue on their cross-country journey to the nation’s capital.

Bikes are scheduled to arrive in Taos between 1:45 and 3 p.m. and live tracking is available via the link here https://rftw352.findmyscout.com/scouts/map.
