Learn all about Red River’s rich past during the Red River Historical Society’s Living History Day beginning at 9 a.m., Monday (Oct. 7) at the Little Red School House Museum and adjoining grounds.

This family friendly event is open to students at the Red River Valley Charter School, homeschooled students, family members, Red River residents, and visitors. The Society has planned educational stations with themes like music, mining and gold panning, saddle and tack, fly fishing, games, and more.

David Werhane, Philmont Museums Director, will also give a special presentation.
A hot-dog lunch with dutch-oven cobbler will be provided for students and family members.

Call Society President Tim Collver at (918) 955-7961 for more information or to RSVP for the lunch.
