The No. 7 Taos Tigers found themselves down 14 points at halftime to No. 10 Silver.
But the Colts (6-5), with their strong running game and stout defensive efforts, were able to maintain their lead throughout the fourth quarter and, in the end, would take home the 26-23 win over the Tigers (6-5) at Anaya Field on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 9) in the first round of the Class 4A state playoffs.
